Open Exposure Gateway (OEG)

The Northbound Interface entry point.

The OEG exposes the platform to Application Providers via standardised CAMARA APIs over the Northbound Interface (NBI), providing a uniform interface that abstracts the complexity of the underlying operator infrastructure.

OEG is responsible for:

  • Application metadata registration, retrieval and removal
  • Application Instance instantiation and termination
  • Network capability exposure (QoS session management, traffic influence)
  • Routing federation requests to the Federation Manager

The OEG is the single NBI entry point. All Application Provider requests are received here and routed to the appropriate internal component.
