Transformation Function SDK¶

Technology-specific adapters implementing the Southbound Interface.

Different operators deploy different Edge Cloud and network infrastructure. Transformation Functions map technology-agnostic NBI requests (passed via the SRM) to the corresponding Southbound Interface (SBI) API calls for the target infrastructure, ensuring the rest of the platform remains infrastructure-agnostic.

Each SBI adapter translates a standardised platform request into the native API of a specific Edge Cloud or network infrastructure technology — Kubernetes, i2Edge or EURECOM's NEF APIs.
